Role: Cathodic Protection Inspector
The basic function of the CP Inspector is to perform inspection services to ensure the quality of work performed in Projects, Master Appropriation (MA), major direct expenditure work orders projects, and verify that dedicated CP system is working and readings meet standards, and adjust rectifier output if necessary, in operation plants.
Scope:
The incumbent will monitor and/or perform quality activities at projects and existing facilities. The incumbent will ensure CONTRACTOR’s WORK or ASSET PROPONENT’S WORK is in compliance using good knowledge of SAUDI ARAMCO engineering requirements, standards, procedures, specifications, and Schedule Q if applicable. The incumbent will provide training to others as and when required. Duties may require physical exertion, working outdoors, confined spaces, high elevations, remote work locations, Verify CP system (impressed current and sacrificial types) are meet standard readings as per SAES-X-Series and drawings in operation plants.
Principal duties:
Education: BS degree in Electrical Engineering OR Two (2) years industrial/technical College Diploma
Experience: Five (5) years’ experience with a minimum of three years in the inspection field.
Certification: Cathodic Protection Level 2 Certification
Good to have the certificates: National Certification Program Construction Code Inspector (NCPCCI) or NFPA 70 Certified or equivalent
