Barista

The Coffee Barista is responsible for the preparation and evaluation of all specialty coffee beverages and hot and cold drinks according to the café's quality standards. Tasks include grinding coffee beans, adjusting the grinder and espresso machine daily, preparing espresso and filter coffee using V60 and Chemex methods, welcoming customer requests with a smile, and providing recommendations that suit their taste. Maintaining cleanliness of the bar and equipment, adhering to food safety procedures, monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, and ensuring timely order fulfillment are also key responsibilities. The role requires teamwork during busy periods with speed and accuracy.

Requirements:

Experience of at least one year in a specialty coffee shop or genuine passion with a high learning curve, basic knowledge of coffee types and brewing methods, excellent communication skills in Arabic and proficiency in English, adherence to schedules and a neat appearance, and the ability to work in shifts and handle weekend duties.
