Role: Corrosion & Material Engineer
Project: Sadara Chemical Company
Location: Jubail
Project type: Long-term
Bachelor's degree in a relevant Discipline
Shall have minimum 10 years of relevant experience and strong hands-on experience in metallurgy engineering and metals & alloys testing (metallography, chemical, mechanical, corrosion, SEM ( Scanning Electron Microscope ), EDS ( Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy ) , and etc.)
Shall have working experience with the material lab team, mainly in failure analysis, corrosion analysis, and corrosion mitigation & control
RCI (Root Cause Investigation) related to petrochemical, chemical plants, and material selection improvement
Able to perform complete failure analysis with reporting
Good to have a Master’s degree
Bachelor's degree in a relevant Discipline
10 years of relevant experience and strong hands-on experience
Material lab experience: The candidate must be familiar with running physical tests on metals
Experience in advanced equipment like SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) and EDS (Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy)
RCI (Root Cause Investigation): able to conduct a complete failure analysis from scratch and write the formal technical report
