Job description
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and startup of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical equipment failures and performance issues in real-time, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
Conduct thorough site inspections and performance testing of machinery, identifying potential risks and recommending proactive maintenance strategies.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project scope, technical requirements, and installation timelines for mechanical components.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in field engineering, with a strong focus on mechanical systems in powerplants.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.
Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, and static equipment.
