Job description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist in implementing site-specific HSE plans in line with project and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor work activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, and environmental standards.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report non-compliance or hazards.
- Document and report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Support investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and dashboards for management review.
- Coordinate and deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness among all project personnel.
- Work closely with project teams, contractors, and HSE leadership to implement safety measures.
- Assist in liaising with regulatory bodies for inspections or audits.
- Support the review and enhancement of HSE procedures and programs.
- Identify trends and recommend initiatives to reduce incidents and environmental impact.
What You'll Be Doing;
- Bachelor s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 2 years of HSE experience in construction, aviation, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 are desirable.
