Job description Team: Competitive Governance Activity: Full-time Role grade: Manager (6) Direct reports: 0 Indirect reports: 0 Reporting to: Director Competitive Governance Role location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Purpose: As Manager Competitive Governance, you will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Esports Foundation s competitive governance structures across the Esports World Cup, Esports Nations Cup, and related competitions. This role is suited for someone who combines strong project execution with structured thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to support complex governance work in a fast-moving environment. You will help translate ideas, discussions, and strategic direction into clear deliverables, including governance models, project plans, presentations, tracking tools, briefing materials, process documents, and stakeholder updates. The role will act as a key execution partner and sounding board to the Director Competitive Governance. You will be expected to manage workstreams, structure ambiguous problems, prepare high-quality materials, track progress, coordinate stakeholders, and help move governance initiatives from concept to implementation.

Reporting, Monitoring & Insights
Maintain governance documentation, workstream trackers, issue logs, compliance trackers, incident records, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Prepare regular updates for the Director Competitive Governance on progress, risks, open decisions, stakeholder issues, and emerging topics.
Monitor developments in sports governance, federation models, major event governance, esports regulation, and competitive integrity.
Provide structured analysis, options, and recommendations to support decision-making.
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve ways of working.
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, International Relations, Sports Law, Governance, Compliance, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
6+ years of relevant experience in consulting, governance, sports business, regulatory environments, or a related field.
Background in consulting firms, especially with exposure to sports or governance, is highly preferred.
Strong project execution skills with the ability to drive workstreams, track actions, and deliver high-quality outputs.
Strong consulting-style problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous topics and turn them into clear work plans.
Excellent deck-building and storytelling skills, with the ability to prepare clear, polished, senior-level presentations.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to create briefing notes, reports, decision papers, process documents, and stakeholder updates.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with frameworks, trackers, dashboards, and structured reporting tools.
Ability to act as a sounding board, challenge ideas constructively, and help shape practical recommendations.
Good understanding of sport, sports business, major sports events, governance, federations, or competition environments.
Ability to work with legal, operational, commercial, and external stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel.
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, international, and event-driven environment.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Knowledge of esports or gaming is a plus, but not essential.
