Job Purpose:
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efficient management and operation of the company s vehicle fleet by coordinating vehicle scheduling, maintenance, registrations, and compliance requirements. The role ensures fleet availability, cost-effective utilization, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with drivers, vendors, and internal departments to support smooth transportation operations.
Main Job Responsibilities:
Process (Efficiency, Cost, Profit)
Maximize the fleet availability to support the operations
Utilize the fleet on the most profitable routes
Ensure to have backloads to improve the profit
Handle the drivers efficiently & solve their problems timely
Maintain the preventive & required maintenance for the fleet
Schedule the dispatch of Vehicles to the appropriate pre-assigned locations considering the transport lead time and agreed SLAs
Coordinate the required training to the drivers such as safety training, loading/unloading the vehicles safely, lashing the vehicles, etc.
Ensure POD s are captured & completed
Prioritize work tasks to assure the achievement of the KPI s agreed upon
Responsible for necessarily following up with the drivers in case of any damage vehicles while under their custody & maintain the tracking sheet until closing the damage cases
Produce Daily/monthly/weekly status reports and present them when requested
Timely handle DDR entries including the necessary data like cost & revenue rates
People (Development, Influencing)
Communicate effectively & timely with the management, team & clients
Communicates effectively with other departments
Analyzes Plans Vs Arrivals and allocations of Vehicles effectively and efficiently Systems (Integration, Sustainability, Tools)
Timely handle accurate entries
Enforce Safety rules and regulations and adherence to QHS requirements
Responsible for achieving department shared KPI s
Knowledge of principles and methods for handling the fleet
Knowledge of Saudi automotive transport market & routes. Education
Technical or associate degree Automotive or equivalent Experience
Min 2 years experience in the automotive transportation filed
Good command of the Arabic & English language.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Speaks clearly)
Coordination and Persuasion skills
Problem Solving and logical judgment
Monitoring and following up processes
Ability to effectively utilize resources, and is a good team worker
