About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Infection Control Specialist to develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with national and international infection control standards and promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare workers.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures.

•  Conduct surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and analyze infection trends.

•  Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, isolation precautions, and infection control practices.

•  Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend corrective actions.

•  Provide infection control education and training to healthcare staff.

•  Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

•  Collaborate with clinical departments to reduce infection risks and improve patient safety.

•  Prepare reports, statistics, and presentations related to infection control activities.

•  Support accreditation requirements and quality improvement initiatives.
