Storekeeper (Warehouse Operations)

Job Purpose
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely material availability, and supporting daily operational requirements while adhering to company procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive materials and verify them against purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming goods and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Record all warehouse transactions accurately in the ERP system.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Issue materials based on approved requests.
- Prepare orders and support dispatch operations.
- Follow up on shipments and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points.
- Participate in cycle counts and periodic stocktaking activities.
- Report inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
- Handle returns and isolate damaged materials.
- Operate warehouse equipment when required (e.g., forklift).
- Support documentation and recording of local branch purchases in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma minimum.
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience in spare parts, industrial equipment, or heavy equipment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
