Project control Manager

Oversee the development and implementation of project control frameworks for oil and gas construction projects, ensuring alignment with company standards.

Establish and maintain project schedules using advanced scheduling software, emphasizing critical path analysis and resource allocation.

Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.

Facilitate the collection and analysis of project performance data, producing regular reports for stakeholders to inform decision-making.

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met within budget and timeline constraints.

Implement and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting on variances against the planned budget.

Direct the change management process, assessing impacts on schedule and cost, and securing necessary approvals.

Lead project control meetings, ensuring effective communication across teams and resolving any issues that may arise.

Train and mentor junior project control staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Role is based in Abu Regional Office based.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in project controls within the oil and gas sector, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management credentials are highly desirable.

Previous experience in both pre-award and post-award project phases, demonstrating versatility and comprehensive understanding.

Familiarity with industry-standard project management software, particularly Primavera P6 or MS Project, is essential.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights for project improvement.

Demonstrated leadership qualities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.

A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of thriving in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities.
