Welding Engineer

Develop and qualify Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs) and implement Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) tailored to project requirements

Administer welder qualification tests and oversee all aspects of welding operations.

Inspect welds for quality and ensure adherence to applicable industry standards, codes and standards requirements.

Inspect welds and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

Identify and resolve welding-related issues, offering corrective action plans as needed.

Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in welding technology.

Train and mentor junior welding engineers and technicians.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / MTech Welding Engineering / IWE-IIW / AWS-CWEng or a relevant Qualification.

Minimum 5 years of work experience in welding engineering or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and materials.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
