Job description
Conduct thorough inspections of welding procedures, ensuring adherence to WPS, and client specifications, minimizing weld defects and maximizing structural integrity.
Oversee welder qualifications and performance, verifying compliance with relevant codes and standards, and providing guidance for improvement.
Review and approve welding documentation, including WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform visual, dimensional, and NDT inspections of welded joints, utilizing advanced techniques like phased array UT and radiography.
Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field to establish a strong foundation.
Saudi Aramco Experience is a super advantage.
Holds a valid Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from AWS, or equivalent, demonstrating professional competence.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in welding inspection, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Generation industries to ensure industry-specific expertise.
Demonstrates expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods (RT, UT, MT, PT), with relevant certifications.
