- Coordinate international and domestic shipments by air, sea, and land.
- Obtain freight rates and prepare quotations for customers and overseas agents.
- Arrange bookings with shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates.
- Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with import and export regulations.
- Monitor shipment movements and provide timely updates to customers.
- Liaise with overseas agents, carriers, transporters, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and customer service issues promptly.
- Verify freight costs, supplier invoices, and customer billing.
- Maintain accurate records and update shipment information in the operating system.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and international trade regulations.
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations.
- Hands on experience in sea freight, air freight, and land transportation processes.
- Good knowledge of import and export documentation, customs clearance procedures, and Incoterms.
- Experience in coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, transporters, and customs brokers.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and freight forwarding or ERP systems.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation and billing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
