Job Role
The primary role of (MEP) Elevators & Escalators Field Operation Engineer is to manage the installation, maintenance, and modernization of vertical transportation systems across sites to ensure field team members comply with safety protocols, diagnose technical failures, and meet operational targets.
Core Responsibilities
- Field Operations Management: Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure they meet the required operational quality & safety standards.
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system defaults and guide the concerned technicians to resolve breakdowns quickly.
- Maintenance Execution: Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to maximize unit uptime and minimize breakdowns.
- HSE Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on-site, ensuring proper hazard assessment and usage of safety tools.
- Reporting & Quality Audits: Generate periodic performance, inspection, and maintenance reports, and conduct quality audits on completed jobs.
