Job description
Diagnose and repair complex issues in air-cooled chiller systems, including refrigeration circuits, electrical controls, and mechanical components.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, meticulously inspecting and servicing compressors, fans, condensers, and control panels to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to accurately identify system faults and guide repair procedures.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment, such as multimeters, refrigerant leak detectors, and vibration analyzers, to pinpoint system malfunctions.
Possesses a High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in HVAC or a related technical field is highly preferred.
Holds EPA Section 608 Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
Has at least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically with air-cooled chiller systems.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical theory, and mechanical principles.
