Barista

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this customer-focused role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced caf environment. As a Saudi National, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied with their experience.

Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, coffee, tea, and other hot and cold drinks according to established standards and recipes

Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other caf equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system

Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and special requests with a positive attitude

Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and hygiene standards at all times

Handle cash and card transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures

Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management

Customize beverages to meet individual customer preferences while maintaining quality standards

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth caf operations during peak and off-peak hours

Develop knowledge of coffee varieties, origins, and brewing techniques to educate customers and make recommendations

Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar caf or customer service role (preferred)

Proficiency in operating espresso machines and other coffee brewing equipment

Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, beverage recipes, and coffee varieties

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with diverse customers

Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards

Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Reliable cash handling experience and accuracy with transactions

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends as needed

Multilingual abilities in Arabic and English (preferred)

Latte art skills and beverage customization expertise (preferred)

Saudi National status (required)
