Job description
Conduct thorough inspections of piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications, identifying any defects or non-conformities.
Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of piping installations during construction phases.
Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant tests to assess the integrity of piping systems.
Collaborate with project engineers and construction teams to provide feedback on quality issues and recommend corrective actions promptly.
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in piping inspection within oil & gas, petrochemical, or construction industries.
Certifications such as AWS CWI, ASNT Level II, or API 570 are highly desirable for demonstrating expertise.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting piping drawings, isometric diagrams, and technical specifications.
