Job description
Verify GRP piping materials against project specifications and approved drawings to ensure compliance, preventing costly rework.
Conduct thorough inspections of GRP piping fabrication, installation, and testing, including visual checks and dimensional accuracy, guaranteeing quality.
Witness and document hydrostatic testing of GRP piping systems, ensuring pressure integrity and leak-free operation, safeguarding against failures.
Review and approve welding procedures and welder qualifications for GRP piping, guaranteeing the integrity and longevity of the joints.
Raise RFIs as per progress at site.
Coordinate with client for site inspection.
Prepare quality plan and ITP
Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
Holds certifications in NDT methods relevant to GRP piping (e.g., visual inspection), proving expertise in quality control techniques.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry, indicating relevant industry knowledge.
Experienced in inspecting GRP piping systems in onshore or offshore projects, showcasing practical application of skills.
