Field QA/QC Engineer – Electrical

Perform site inspections for electrical installation and testing activities and verify compliance with project QA/QC requirements.

Review ITPs, method statements, drawings, and test procedures; ensure correct implementation at site.

Witness key hold points, support pre-commissioning/commissioning checks, and ensure all electrical tests are executed as per approved plans.

Raise NCRs, track corrective actions (CAPA), and ensure closure with proper evidence/documentation.

Maintain QA/QC records and registers (test reports, inspection checklists, material traceability, calibration certificates) and submit reports to QA/QC management.

B.E in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years’ experience in field QA/QC for electrical works power/industrial preferred.

Strong knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems, cabling, earthing & bonding, protection & control interfaces, and acceptance testing.

Experience with ITP execution, inspection/witnessing, and handling NCR/CAPA in construction environments.

Ability to read single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics; ensure documentation accuracy.

On-site exposure, strong communication skills, and familiarity with IEC/IEEE/NFPA standards.
