At Mnzil, safety is the foundation of everything we build. The Safety Coordinator supports the QHSE department in executing day-to-day safety operations across our workforce housing sites, managing documentation and reporting, and delivering field training to workers, under the supervision of the QHSE Manager. This role covers conducting routine inspection rounds to ensure compliance with safety standards, preparing and following up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and field visit reports, and organizing technical documentation and records (Master Register) in both Arabic and English. The Safety Coordinator also delivers safety awareness and operational training to workers and supervisors covering general safety, first aid, PPE, and fire safety while supporting the implementation of fire safety plans (NFPA 10/72) and water quality/utilities monitoring. This role combines technical precision with on-ground presence, coordinating with clients and service providers on safety observations, and contributing to the development of procedures and policies in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 requirements
Key Responsibilities
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for conducting routine inspection rounds across housing sites to ensure compliance with safety standards, along with preparing and following up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and field visit reports.
This role also involves organizing and maintaining technical documentation and records, including the Master Register, in both Arabic and English.
The Safety Coordinator delivers safety awareness and operational training to workers and supervisors, covering general safety, first aid, PPE, and fire safety, while supporting the implementation of fire safety plans (NFPA 10/72) and water quality/utilities monitoring.
Additionally, the role includes coordinating with clients and service providers on safety observations and technical complaints, and contributing to the development and update of procedures and policies in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with a NEBOSH certification (IGC minimum), which is required, while an IOSH certification is considered a plus.
A working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 requirements is essential for this role.
Candidates should bring at least 1 year of experience in safety, preferably within workforce housing, residential facilities, or facilities management, along with hands-on experience delivering field-based training to workers and writing technical reports, including NCR documentation.
On the skills side, the role requires fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, strong organizational skills in document management and archiving, advanced proficiency in Excel and Word for report preparation, and good communication skills with workers, supervisors, and clients.
The role also requires the ability to work on-site and travel between locations as needed.
