Job description
Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician for fire protection, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of fire protection systems to uphold safety standards and prevent potential hazards.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct regular inspections of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, fire sprinklers, and extinguishers.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as testing, cleaning, and replacing parts of fire protection equipment.
Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, and any repairs made to fire protection systems.
Respond promptly to any issues or alarms related to the fire protection systems and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance and address any identified issues in a timely manner.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with a focus on fire protection systems.
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, codes, and regulations.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire protection equipment effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues effectively.
