Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Central Kitchen Sous Chef based in Riyadh. The Central Kitchen Sous Chef will assist in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation and presentation align with company standards. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are met, and supporting menu planning and recipe development. The role also involves collaborating with senior chefs to maintain kitchen efficiency and meet operational targets.
Qualifications Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management. Proven skills in staff supervision, team collaboration, and effective leadership within a kitchen environment. Strong understanding of hygiene practices, food safety regulations, and inventory management procedures. Ability to plan menus, develop recipes, and maintain high standards in food quality. Time management, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to handle a fast-paced environment. Culinary degree or relevant professional certification preferred. Prior experience in a central kitchen or large-scale food production environment is an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
