Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects reports, universes, and dashboards.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into accurate BI reporting solutions.
- Build and manage BI semantic layers (universes) using IDT and/or UDT.
- Develop reports using Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, and Lumira/Dashboard Designer.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, data architects, and project managers.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including specifications, data mappings, and report designs.
- Ensure compliance with government security standards and data handling policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BI 4.x preferred).
- Strong expertise in Web Intelligence (WebI) report development.
- Proven experience in Universe design using IDT and/or UDT.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, views).
- Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Crystal Reports and BI platform administration (scheduling, publications, security roles).
- Previous experience working with government or public-sector entities.
- Knowledge of SAP BW/BEx or other SAP data sources.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with Arabic-language reporting requirements.
