Reporting to the Market Access, Policy, and Communications Director for Saudi Arabia, the Health Economics & Outcomes Research Manager is responsible for developing and executing an integrated evidence-generation strategy to support the launch and sustained access of our Company s strategic assets across all therapeutic areas in Saudi Arabia.
This role includes the following responsibilities:
- Assimilate the value proposition of our Company s products and review existing clinical and economic evidence available globally and locally
- Establish the evidence needs and requirements of healthcare authorities, payers, and providers as a baseline for real-world evidence generation
- Map the healthcare data landscape in Saudi Arabia and monitor emerging trends in real-world evidence generation
- Develop integrated plans for generating real-world evidence to achieve optimal access pathways and protect the clinical and economic value of our Company s products
- Adapt clinical, cost-effectiveness, and budget impact models to align with the local context, in line with SFDA requirements and business needs
- Conduct real-world evidence studies to assess the disease burden, patient characteristics, treatment patterns, impact on quality of life, and any additional evidence requested by healthcare authorities, regulatory bodies, or payers
- Establish strategic partnerships with prominent HEOR figures to support business and scientific objectives
- Collaborate with other functions such as Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Policy to effectively communicate outcomes research findings and ensure consistent messaging across our Company and external stakeholders
- Present health economics & outcomes research data at international and local congresses and publish associated articles in scientific journals
- Ensure full compliance with our Company s requirements and procedures for real-world evidence generation
- Oversee study execution from end to end, including vendor onboarding, contracting, budgeting, and reporting
- Identify gaps in evidence generation plans and communicate them effectively to local and regional stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of new scientific and methodological developments related to health economics and outcomes research in Saudi Arabia
Pharmacist or physician with a master s degree in a relevant field such as public health, epidemiology, or health economics
3 5 years of experience in health economics, outcomes research, market access, or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry
Extensive knowledge in health economics principles, health outcomes research methods, cost-effectiveness analysis, budget impact analysis, and economic modeling
Understanding of the regulatory environment and healthcare system in Saudi Arabia
Strong leadership, project management, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Fluent in English and Arabic
