Chiller Refrigerant Station Operator

Operate and monitor chiller refrigerant systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency, maintaining precise temperature control for critical processes.

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all chiller components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and pumps, to identify and address potential issues before they cause downtime.

Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigerant leaks, system malfunctions, and operational anomalies, utilizing specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to pinpoint root causes.

Safely handle, charge, and recover refrigerants according to environmental regulations and company safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.

Possession of a High School Diploma or GED is fundamental for understanding technical manuals and procedures.

A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining large-scale industrial chiller systems.

Certification as a Universal EPA Refrigerant Technician is mandatory for legal and safe refrigerant handling.

Proven experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment, demonstrating familiarity with complex machinery.
