1. Services
Shougl enables blue- and grey-collar job seekers to create professional profiles and apply for positions suited to their qualifications and experience across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the MENA region. The App allows you to:
- Create a profile and digital CV.
- Browse job listings and submit applications.
- Communicate with employers through the platform.
- Receive notifications about relevant job opportunities.
2. Use of the App & Services
2.1 Application License
tanfidh alkhadamat almadarah Company Ltd. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal purposes in accordance with these Terms. The App is available via Google Play, Apple App Store, and Huawei AppGallery. By downloading from any of these stores, you agree to comply with that store's applicable terms of service.
2.2 Updates
The Company reserves the right to update the App and develop its services periodically, with or without prior notice. Your continued use of the App following any update constitutes implicit acceptance of the changes made.
2.3 Restrictions
You may not, under any circumstances:
- Use the App for commercial or non-personal purposes.
- Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App.
- Use automated tools to collect data or scrape content from the platform.
- Transfer your account or data to a third party.
- Remove any proprietary notices or trademarks from any part of the App.
2.4 Third-Party Materials
The Service may include access to resources hosted by third parties. You acknowledge and agree that the Company has no control over such materials and that your use of them is entirely at your own risk.
3. Eligibility & Registration
3.1 Eligibility Requirements
To use the App you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- Not be prohibited from using the platform under any applicable laws.
3.2 Account Creation
Account creation is free. You must provide accurate, complete, and continuously up-to-date information. You may not register more than one account or create an account on behalf of another person. If your account has previously been suspended or banned, you may not create a new account.
3.3 Account Security
You are fully responsible for all activity conducted through your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at: support@shougl.com.
3.4 Equipment Requirements
You are responsible for providing a compatible device and for bearing any associated internet connection costs.
4. Profile & Job Applications
4.1 Profile Accuracy
You are fully responsible for the accuracy of all information in your profile and CV, including work experience, skills, and qualifications. Providing misleading or false information may result in immediate account suspension.
4.2 No Employment Guarantee
The Company does not guarantee that you will obtain any job, interview, or employment offer through the platform. Shougl is a digital intermediary only.
4.3 Employer Verification
While the Company makes reasonable efforts to verify employers, you remain responsible for independently verifying the legitimacy of any job offer or employer before taking any action.
4.4 Profile Sharing with Employers
By creating a profile on the platform, you consent to subscribed employers being able to view your professional data (name, experience, skills, contact details) for recruitment purposes. Your sensitive data — including Iqama number and passport number — will never be shared with employers under any circumstances.
5. Responsibility for Content
5.1 User Content
You are solely responsible for the content you publish through the App, including your profile, CV, and any other materials.
5.2 Content License
You retain ownership of your content; however, by publishing it on the platform, you grant the Company a non-exclusive right to use, display, and distribute it for the purposes of operating and improving the Service and matching you with employers.
5.3 No Obligation to Pre-Screen Content
The Company reserves the right, but is under no obligation, to review, reject, or remove any content at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Platform Ownership
You acknowledge and agree that tanfidh alkhadamat almadarah Company Ltd. and its suppliers hold all rights, title, and interest in the App and all its components, including interfaces, algorithms, databases, designs, trademarks, source code, and all aggregated data.
6.2 Trademarks
The "Shougl" mark and all associated logos and designs are owned by the Company and may not be used without explicit permission.
7. User Conduct
You acknowledge and agree that you will not use the App for any of the following:
- Providing false or misleading information or impersonating another person.
- Harassing, abusing, or mistreating employers or other platform users.
- Using the platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Sending spam or introducing malicious software.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the platform's systems.
- Collecting platform user data for unauthorized purposes.
- Violating Saudi Labor Law, PDPL, or any other applicable regulations.
8. Removal of Content
8.1 General
The Company reserves the right to remove any content at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Content may be removed if it contains misleading or abusive information, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or violates applicable regulations.
8.2 Reporting
The Company reserves the right to report any suspected unlawful activity to the relevant Saudi authorities. Related content may be shared with government or regulatory bodies as required by law.
9. Interactions with Employers
9.1 Job Seeker Responsibility
The Company is not a party to any employment relationship or dispute arising between you and employers. You are fully responsible for all your interactions with employers and for decisions related to job opportunities.
9.2 Employer Content
Job listings and employer content are outside the Company's control and responsibility. The Company makes no warranties as to the accuracy of job postings or the legitimacy of employers.
9.3 In-App Messaging
Your messages to employers must be professional and appropriate. Abuse, threats, or inappropriate content are strictly prohibited. The Company reserves the right to review messages and suspend accounts where misuse is detected.
10. Third-Party Services
10.1 Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. The Company does not monitor these services and bears no responsibility for them. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
10.2 Third-Party Sign-In
The App allows sign-in via Google or Apple. By choosing this method, you agree to the sharing of certain basic data with the Company in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the relevant third party's policies.
11. Messaging & Notifications
11.1 Notifications
By registering and providing your phone number or email address, you consent to receiving notifications from Shougl relating to: job matches and application alerts, account updates, and fraud prevention and account security.
11.2 Carrier Charges
Shougl does not charge for its messaging services; however, standard messaging and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
11.3 Privacy
Information associated with messages — such as your phone number, message content, and timestamps — may be collected and used in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
12.1 Service Availability
The platform's services are provided on an "as is" basis without any express or implied warranties. The Company does not warrant the uninterrupted availability of the service or the absence of technical errors.
12.2 Third-Party Content
The Company is not responsible for content posted by employers or other users. Job listings are the sole responsibility of the publishing party.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App, including failure to obtain a job or loss of an employment opportunity.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its employees, directors, and agents from any claims, losses, or legal costs arising from: your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the App, your infringement of a third party's rights, or your non-compliance with applicable regulations.
15. Termination & Account Deletion
15.1 The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately in the event of a breach of these Terms or violation of applicable regulations.
15.2 You may delete your account at any time via: Profile > Legal > Delete Account, or by contacting us at support@shougl.com, or through the link: https://shougl.com/delete-account.
15.3 Please refer to the Privacy Policy for details regarding data retained after account deletion in accordance with legal requirements.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The parties shall first seek amicable resolution within 30 days of written notice. If amicable resolution is not achieved, the dispute shall be referred to the competent courts of Riyadh.
17. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via an in-app notice or to their registered email address prior to the changes taking effect. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
