Ma'aden Company Announces Senior Quality Assurance Specialist Position
Purpose of the Job
To lead, organize, and coordinate technical matters, provide technical support and maintenance, and conduct quality and safety inspections for repair and maintenance work on all related equipment, aiming to improve the quality, availability, and reliability of equipment at designated Group sites.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Health, Safety, and Environment Compliance
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Be familiar with the Ma'aden Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System (M-SHEMS).
- Apply and promote a safety culture during daily activities.
People and Organization
- Develop the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team in coordination with supervisors and the General Manager.
- Promote self-learning and build technical capabilities.
Production, Reliability, and Integrity
- Support supervisors and technicians in troubleshooting and pre-inspection.
- Monitor maintenance work to ensure compliance with standard work instructions.
- Perform troubleshooting tasks and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare and update safe work instructions and checklists.
- Review non-routine maintenance work.
- Ensure the availability and updating of all technical documents.
- Create a database and technical files for the department.
- Coordinate with workshops and planners to provide documentation and spare parts.
- Ensure the availability and safe maintenance of special tools.
Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Identify the causes of equipment failures.
- Select appropriate solutions considering production downtime and equipment criticality.
- Take immediate actions to reduce the impact of failures.
- Supervise critical work and inform management of any discrepancies.
- Propose advanced technical solutions and methodologies to reduce costs.
- Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations.
- Improve current practices and develop management systems.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience for Bachelor's degree holders.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience for Diploma holders in the related field.
