Job description
- Implement project HSE plan for live refinery brownfield execution
- Permit-to-Work (PTW) compliance and coordination
- SIMOPS coordination with refinery operations
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and risk assessments (JSA)
- H2S hazard management and gas testing protocols
- Monitor high-risk activities: lifting, confined space, hot work, line breaking
- Conduct incident investigations and emergency response preparedness
- Lifting activity safety oversight (150T crane operations)
Shutdown-specific safety controls for extended shifts
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- H2S certification (supervisor level)
- First Aid certification
- 7+ years HSE experience in KSA oil & gas with 5+ years in refineries
- Direct experience with SABIC/Aramco PTW systems and SIMOPS
- Live refinery brownfield safety management
- Transferable Iqama
Preferred:
- SASREF-specific HSE experience
- IOSH or equivalent
- Incident investigation certification
