Job description
- He receives all instructions related to the production campaign from the Production Engineer/Manager.
- He relays any report of abnormal operation (safety, product quality, process conditions, mechanical problems to the Production Engineer/Manager.
- He organizes the work of the operations, based on the instructions received.
- He handles the transfer of all instructions at the end of his shift.
- He has full responsibility for the unit(s) operation, and should be able to take some critical decisions, and/or will alert the Production Supervisor or Production Manager regarding the problems, particularly if related to safety or operations.
- He will perform, whenever needed, the same tasks as the operators for smooth operation.
- Responsible for all the operational equipment and if any abnormalities in the plant should inform the production department.
- He will conduct routine laboratory analyses during the shift.
- He will assist the Maintenance Engineer in case of any requirement.
- He drives and operates forklifts for loading and unloading drums, bags, etc. in the production and storage area.
- He drives a company car if deemed necessary for coming to the shift and back to the place of residence.
- Collect samples as per procedure.
- Prepare samples for testing and analysis.
