Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage government media relations across the Kingdom, ensuring alignment with national priorities and regulatory frameworks.
  • Coordinate with key government entities and stakeholders (e.g., PIF, Ministry of Media, SPA, CGC, and relevant authorities) on all media engagements, approvals, and communications.
  • Ensure all government-related communications (press releases, announcements, speeches, MoUs, events) are fully compliant with approved governance, protocols, and messaging guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with official domestic media channels and government-affiliated platforms to support strategic visibility and accurate representation.
  • Support the execution of high-level government announcements and events, including media coordination, messaging alignment, and stakeholder management.
  • Review and refine Arabic content to ensure alignment with the national communication tone.
  • Manage approval processes and workflows for government-facing communications, ensuring timely execution and zero compliance breaches.
  • Monitor domestic media coverage related to government communications and provide insights, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Digital, Brand, Marketing, Corporate Relations) to ensure integrated and consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of government communication plans and initiatives aligned with Qiddiya s strategic priorities.

Bachelor s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in PR, media relations, or government communications, within Saudi Arabia.

  • Strong understanding of government communication protocols, media regulations, and approval processes in KSA.

  • Proven experience in managing high-profile announcements and stakeholder-sensitive communications.

  • Excellent Arabic writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce content aligned with the national tone; strong English proficiency is required.

  • Established network or experience working with domestic media outlets and government entities.

  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills, with the ability to operate in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

  • High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and messaging consistency.
