Job Summary
The Accountant is responsible for managing the company's accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, supporting HR and administrative functions, and ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and government platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare journal entries, invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, and supplier statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and cost control.
- Process payroll in coordination with HR.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations.
- Support internal and external audits.
HR & Administration
- Maintain employee files and HR records.
- Assist in preparing employment contracts, offer letters, and HR correspondence.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Track employee attendance, leave, and payroll-related records.
- Support recruitment and general administrative activities.
Government Portals & Compliance
- Manage company transactions on Qiwa.
- Process employee services through Muqeem.
- Handle activities on GOSI.
- Manage services through Mudad for Wage Protection System (WPS).
- Process transactions on Qiwa Business, Absher Business, and other government portals as required.
- Coordinate work visas, Iqama issuance, transfers, renewals, and exit/re-entry procedures.
- Ensure company records, licenses, and registrations remain valid and compliant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Saudi labor law and government platforms.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the contracting or construction industry.
- Knowledge of IFRS and ZATCA requirements.
- SOCPA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA certification is an advantage.
