Role: Mechanical Inspector

Role Summary
Handling the inspections for Chilled Water (welding), Irrigation, Potable & Firefighting, Wastewater, Stormwater in infrastructure and HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing services in the service buildings.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including 6 years of experience in Quality Inspection.
- CSWIP 3.1 Certification or CWI or equivalent (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect welding works in accordance with approved WPS, ITPs, drawings, and project specifications
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ISO, etc.)
- Verify welder qualifications and welding procedures prior to execution
- Conduct visual inspections before, during, and after welding activities
- Coordinate with QC Engineers, Site Engineers, and Contractors to resolve welding-related issues
- Review and verify NDT reports and follow up on corrective actions
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation
- Identify non-conformances and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure adherence to HSE requirements during welding operations
- Thorough knowledge of ASME Standards.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in infrastructure projects, mega community developments, or mixed-use construction projects
- Experience in large-scale, high-quality construction environments preferred
