General Accountant

Job Description

An established Electro Mechanical Contracting Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team in Al Khobar.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Manage daily accounting operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

·        Handle banking transactions and bank reconciliations.

·        Handle cash transactions, petty cash, and ensure proper cash management and reconciliation.

·        Prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time.

·        Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

·        Process payroll and maintain payroll records.

·        Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.

·        Maintain accurate financial records and prepare management reports.

·        Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, banking, VAT filing, year-end closing, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting.

·        Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

·        Experience in the Electro Mechanical Contracting or construction industry is preferred.

·        Fluency in English and Hindi is required.

·        Transferable visa is mandatory.

·        Valid driving license is an advantage.

·        Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in the Electromechanical Contracting or construction industry is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
• Candidates from Kerala only.
• Transferable visa is mandatory.
• Valid driving license is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Computer skills: Microsoft Access, Odoo Software.
