Technical & Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Technical & Design Engineer with experience in Structural Steel Fabrication and PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) Projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, structural calculations, BOQs, and coordinating with design, production, and site teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shop, fabrication, GA, and erection drawings.

• Perform structural steel design and engineering calculations.

• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and technical submittals.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and design requirements.

• Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and site teams.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and industry codes.

• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and erection.

• Implement consultant/client comments and revise drawings accordingly.

• Resolve technical issues related to structural steel and PEB projects.

• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and project records.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Structural Steel Fabrication / PEB Projects.

• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and steel design calculations.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, STAAD Pro/SAP2000, and MS Office.

• Good understanding of fabrication processes and structural detailing.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• GCC experience is an added advantage.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of international structural steel codes and standards.

• Strong planning, time management, and teamwork skills.
