Workshop Supervisor, Technical Services

Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop including layout, workflow, tool traffic, and daily work planning.

Coordinate workshop activities with the Field Engineers and Lead to align with the approved job design package and field schedule.

Maintain accurate spare parts and consumables inventory to ensure minimum required levels for operational readiness.

Take full operational responsibility for the hydrostatic Pressure Test Bay and Hydraulic Bucking Unit including test and torque execution per approved procedures.

Work in line with the Field Engineers on tool redressing, assembly, and disassembly of running, service, and sales tools per approved procedures.

Prepare items, tools, and equipment ahead of upcoming operations ensuring readiness before mobilization.

Support post-job workshop turnaround: cleaning, inspection, and re-certification of returned tools and equipment.

Enforce workshop HSE rules including PPE, safe clothing practices, exclusion zones, and lock-out/shutdown of equipment when unattended.

Keep the workshop, pressure test bay, and Hydraulic Bucking Unit areas clean and free of hazards at all times.

Ensure all workshop practices, tools, and equipment adhere to SOPs and company QA/QC and safety standards.

Maintain complete and accurate records for each assembly, test, and torque operation including charts, reports, and logs.

Maintain controlled documentation for workshop equipment manuals, maintenance logs, and modification records.

Work in line with the Integrated Services Team supporting and being supported on tool redressing, assembly, and disassembly tasks.

Provide on-demand support to field operations team for workshop-side preparation ahead of mobilization.

Report on workshop status, equipment condition, and any HSE or quality concerns to the Technical Services Manager.

Achieve zero HSE incidents and 100% PPE/lock-out compliance in the workshop.

Ensure on-time tool readiness and turnaround for scheduled mobilizations.

Practical knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Good safety mindset and attention to detail with high-pressure and high-torque equipment.

Good organizational and leadership skills to keep the workshop efficient, tidy, and job ready.

Effective communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office Automation for maintenance logs, test reports, and inventory tracking.

Experience with downhole tool assembly, redressing, and inspection preferred.
