The Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing mechanical repairs in accordance with established procedures and specifications. The technician will also assess faults accurately and carry out necessary repairs using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. What You Will Do:
- Execute vehicle repair and maintenance jobs in line with established work procedures, specifications, and time standards.
- Diagnose mechanical faults accurately and carry out repairs, overhauls, reassemblies, and wheel alignment corrections as per repair manuals.
- Deliver high quality workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize repeat repairs.
- Conduct quality checks and complete service documentation in compliance with dealer and principal requirements.
- Use scan tools, special service tools, and the principal’s online repair manuals effectively.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean and safe workplace.
- Plan and manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Stay updated with new technologies, procedures, and time standards through ongoing training.
- Comply fully with company rules, regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures.
