Job description
- Record financial transactions: Input all daily transactions into the accounting ledgers (daily ledger, general ledger) using accounting software.
- Prepare financial reports and statements: Develop the general balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement regularly (monthly/annually) to provide a detailed overview for management.
- Bank reconciliations: Reconcile company accounting records with bank statements to ensure accuracy and avoid errors.
- Manage accounts (debtors and creditors): Monitor customer and supplier accounts, issue invoices, and review outstanding and received payments.
- Asset and inventory management: Record fixed assets, manage depreciation accounts, and monitor inventory movements.
- Tax compliance and audits: Prepare tax declarations (such as VAT) and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in audits: Provide necessary data and documentation for external and internal auditors.
