Job description
Review Airworthiness Directives (ADs) to ensure compliance with applicable FAA, EASA and GACA regulations. Review and participate in evaluating OEMs documentations (SBs, VSBs, OITs. SILs, etc.) to ensure compliance as required. Maintain awareness of FAA, EASA and GACA regulations and required compliance of ADs, SBs and approved maintenance program. Analyse cost effectiveness of modifications recommended by aircraft and components manufacturers and preparing necessary engineering documents accordingly. Ensure compatibility and accuracy of manufacturer and vendor technical documents with flyadeal fleet and requesting updates and corrections whenever necessary. Build a good rapport with external partners to ensure flyadeal requirements are adequately considered and actioned in a timely manner. Interact with FAD finance department to track and manage costs associated with engineering department. Prepare and report cost engineering information on a monthly basis and additional ad-hoc reports as required by Head of Engineering. Deliver process engineering services that meet flyadeal standard and regulatory requirement, on time and within budget. Strive for cost effectiveness is every aspect of the job function identifying areas for automation, development of best class practices and analytical approach. Prepare fleet utilization reports to be shared with FAD Finance and aircraft owners.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical electrical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering. (MBA is a plus). A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in airline engineering. AMOS customer processes, product, and services. Excellent knowledge of aircraft technical documentation. Legal and regulatory airworthiness awareness. Strong Knowledge of Microsoft office application. Projects Management. Excellent report writing skills.
