Red Sea Company Announces Position of Senior Manager - Electrical Department

Purpose of the Position:

Execute field maintenance operations across dry low-voltage utility infrastructure, including power generation stations, within the scope of the railway support unit, to ensure seamless support for all field users. Manage maintenance and reliability strategy, and field maintenance operations within specified budgets and timelines.

Functional Responsibilities:

Strategic Contribution:

• Assist in developing and implementing the annual work plan for dry low-voltage facility maintenance.
• Contribute to developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve field maintenance operations.
• Support the integration of new technologies to enhance service reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure the maintenance and operation of all utility assets to achieve maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Provide immediate response to operational failures or maintenance work within agreed-upon timeframes.

Field Operations and Maintenance:

• Ensure smooth daily operations and provide effective customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve performance, reliability, and service quality.
• Conduct periodic monitoring of dry low-voltage facilities and identify opportunities for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Allocate field workforce and manage emergency response and power outages.
• Manage compliance and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and technology adoption.
• Supervise system maintenance, inspection, repair, and component replacement activities.
• Coordinate with partners and contractors to ensure efficient execution of all work.
• Manage the issuance and closure of work permits and update electronic asset management records.
• Monitor and analyze the network, prepare load reports, and coordinate with field operations.

Risk Management:

• Identify risks related to maintenance operations and develop mitigation measures.
• Provide periodic reports to management on key business risks.

Leadership and People Management:

• Coordinate the activities of suppliers and vendors and ensure efficient execution of all work.
• Act as a role model to ensure employee commitment to the company's vision, mission, and values.
• Inform senior management of the team's resource needs and necessary requirements.

Policies, Systems, and Procedures:

• Follow all policies and procedures to ensure work is executed in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Prepare Management Information Systems (MIS) statements and reports accurately and on time.
• Analyze operational processes and integrate workflows to improve overall operational performance.

Safety, Quality, and Environment:

• Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies and controls to ensure employee safety and the delivery of high-quality products and services.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the department's systems and processes.
• Improve processes, reduce costs, and increase reliability and productivity.
• Adopt best practices, international standards, and technology to improve efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in a relevant field, with at least 4 years in a similar role.
• Experience in large sustainable utility infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries is preferred.
• Strong technical and operational understanding of dry (low-voltage) utility systems.
