Food Procurement Specialist

Career Objective:
Responsible for sourcing food suppliers, purchasing food products, and ensuring timely delivery in accordance with company policies, quality standards, and approved budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with food suppliers on prices and contracts.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on supply and delivery processes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and approved quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure material availability.
• Analyze market trends and seek opportunities for cost reduction and procurement efficiency improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, prices, and supplier performance evaluations.

Requirements:

• 1–4 years of experience in food procurement.
• Strong negotiation and effective communication skills.
• Good knowledge of food safety standards and local regulations; familiarity with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) requirements is preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs.
