Sales Engineer - Chillers

Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations showcasing the value proposition of our chiller solutions to prospective clients.

Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and translate them into customized technical solutions and proposals.

Conduct site surveys and analyses to assess project requirements, identify potential challenges, and recommend optimal chiller system configurations.

Provide expert technical support and consultation throughout the sales cycle, addressing customer inquiries and resolving technical objections effectively.

Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, performance data, and ROI calculations, to support sales proposals.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chiller technology, market trends, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and consultants within target industries.

Assist in the development and execution of product training for sales teams and channel partners.

Troubleshoot and provide initial technical guidance on complex application issues, escalating to engineering teams when necessary.

Contribute to product development by providing market feedback and insights from customer interactions.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role within the HVAC or industrial refrigeration industry.

Proven understanding of chiller technology, thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles, and heat transfer principles.

Proficiency in using CAD software for system design and layout, as well as simulation tools for performance analysis.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and addressing customer technical challenges.

Experience with project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple technical pursuits simultaneously.

Familiarity with international building codes, energy efficiency standards, and relevant industry regulations.

Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages, particularly Spanish or French, is a significant advantage.
