Job description
Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial regulations, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insights to management for informed decision-making.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Holds a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably within a specific industry.
Demonstrates strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS), financial reporting, and internal controls.
