Operation manager - heavy trucks & fleet

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations of heavy fleet (trucks, trailers, tankers, heavy equipment)
• Oversee daily transportation activities, route planning, and load scheduling to ensure timely delivery
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi traffic regulations, MOT (Moroor), TGA, and relevant government requirements
• Supervise drivers, operators, and fleet supervisors, including performance evaluation, discipline, and training
• Monitor vehicle registration (Istimara), insurance, permits, and driver licenses (including heavy vehicle licenses)
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and downtime
• Control fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and operational expenses; prepare monthly fleet reports
• Investigate accidents, violations, and operational incidents; liaise with authorities when required
• Ensure adherence to safety, HSE, and load-securing standards
• Manage workshops, spare parts inventory, and third-party maintenance providers
• Implement GPS tracking, telematics, and fleet management systems
• Coordinate with project, logistics, and finance teams to meet operational targets
• Develop and enforce fleet policies, SOPs, and KPIs
