Job Overview
Responsible for daily accounting, financial reporting and local compliance for the company’s Saudi entity. Ensure accurate and efficient execution of bookkeeping, vouchers, AR/AP and asset management in line with IFRS. Fully comply with Saudi tax laws, Saudization, localization and foreign exchange regulations to support business decisions for both headquarters and local management.
Job Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Voucher Management
- Record daily transactions (procurement, sales, expenses, payroll) and prepare vouchers per IFRS and company policies.
- Verify invoices, contracts and supporting documents with valid Saudi TIN and VAT information.
- Maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers; conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement.
- Assist headquarters in financial analysis on profitability, cash flow and assets-liabilities structure.
3. AR & AP Management
- AR: Monitor customer receivables, issue statements, follow up collections and report bad debt risks.
- AP: Verify supplier invoices, POs and delivery notes; process compliant payments.
4. Asset & Inventory Management
- Manage fixed assets including acquisition, depreciation and disposal.
- Organize inventory checks, reconcile book-to-physical discrepancies and follow up resolutions.
5. Records & Compliance
- File financial vouchers, statements and contracts in accordance with Saudi Commercial Law.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial data and documents.
6. Saudi Local Compliance
- Tax compliance: Liaise with ZATCA on VAT, corporate income tax and other tax matters.
- Saudization: Maintain Saudization ratio and payroll records in line with Ministry of Labor requirements.
- Local content: Cooperate with audit bodies to meet local content cost accounting rules.
- Foreign exchange: Ensure all fund transactions comply with Saudi foreign exchange regulations.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related major.
- Language: Proficient in English (working language); Female candidates are preferred.
- Experience: 2–3 years of finance working experience; Saudi Arabia / Middle East experience is a plus.
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiar with IFRS, Saudi tax laws and labor regulations.
- Skilled in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting and analysis.
- Able to handle tax filing, audit coordination and local compliance independently.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office.
