To lead and manage group level accounting operations and taxation compliance, with primary responsibility for ZATCA, VAT, financial reporting discipline, and standardization of accounting practices across all divisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting and Financial Control
- Oversee complete accounting function across all divisions
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger, journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Drive timely monthly, quarterly, and year end closing
- Review and validate financial statements including P and L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Ensure consistency in accounting policies and practices across entities.
2. ZATCA and Taxation Compliance
- Lead all VAT and ZATCA related activities at group level.
- Prepare and review VAT filings and ensure timely submission.
- Handle ZATCA audits, queries, and assessments.
- Manage objections, penalty mitigation, and documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi tax laws and regulatory requirements.
3. Consolidation and Reporting
- Prepare group level financial reports and consolidation.
- Analyze division wise performance and highlight key variances.
- Support Financial Controller in management reporting and decision making.
- Maintain audit ready financial records and schedules.
4. Team Management and Coordination
- Supervise and guide senior accountants across divisions.
- Establish accountability and performance discipline within the team.
- Provide technical guidance on accounting and tax matters.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
5. Internal Controls and Process Improvement
- Design and implement SOPs for accounting and taxation processes.
- Strengthen internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.
- Ensure proper documentation, audit trails, and compliance checks.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

Effective supervision of accounting teams.
Qualified or semi-qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
At least 3–5 years of experience specifically in Saudi Arabia with strong ZATCA exposure.
Hands-on experience in VAT filings, ZATCA audits, and compliance is mandatory.
Experience in multi-entity or multi-location business is preferred.
