Job description
Role: Mechanical Inspector- welding
Job Location: Saudi Arabia
Project/ Client: Saudi Aramco
Project: Project Inspection Department (PID)
Employment type:
option 1.) Freelancer via Ajer Contract
option 2.) Transferable Iqama
Notice period: Immediate Joiner/ 15 days' notice period
Working Hours: 8 hours per day ( 48 hours per week basis for a normal work week). i.e., 6 days + OT, based on the approved time sheet by the client.
Project Benefit: Car + Fuel and OT, based on the approved time sheet by the client.
Education: Diploma or an Engineering Degree
Experience: 4 years post-qualification experience in Quality Inspection with an Engineering Degree OR 8 years post-qualification experience Quality Inspection with a Technical Diploma
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections for compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
- Witness material and installation tests
- Prepare inspection reports and initiate corrective actions for non-compliance.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s in respective discipline OR a 2-year industrial/technical College.
- Experience: 4+ years of quality experience required for Engineering (8+ years of quality experience required for diploma holders).
- Certifications: Inspectors are expected to hold internationally recognized certifications in the disciplines for which they are qualified.
- mechanical inspector- API 563 for Tanks, API 570, API 510 or ASME certified for Pressure Vessels, Boilers and Heat Exchangers, and ASNT Level II in MT, PT, UT & VT, RTFI.
