Announcement by Aramco Mobil Samref for the Position of Process Safety Engineer

Purpose of the Job

To provide engineering support in the field of safety to the Loss Prevention and Process Safety department and refinery work teams to ensure effective and sustainable compliance with the established safety system and practices.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Full responsibility as a Process Safety Engineer, including all activities at the designated site and periodic visits to promote a safety culture.
• Support the Operational Information Management System (OIMS) to ensure effective and sustainable deployment of system improvement plans and general operating procedures.
• Participate in programs for monitoring low-pressure control systems, data analysis, and preparing weekly, monthly, and annual safety reports.
• Review engineering packages related to projects (TSR) and modifications (MOC) and ensure compliance with governmental safety standards and ExxonMobil practices.
• Provide support in applying the Incident Risk Analysis Tool (IRAT) and ensuring the quality of investigations.
• Prepare and issue Refinery Risk Management Plans (RMP) and Risk Control Plans (RCP) and follow up on their implementation in cooperation with the Safe Operations Committee (SOC).
• Support operational risk assessment and analysis, process safety engineering studies, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Provide support in audits, safety reviews, inspections, and adherence to safety requirements during operations or emergencies.
• Participate in refinery emergency response and provide assistance as directed by the Safety/Operations Supervisor.

Educational Qualifications

Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

Practical Experience: At least 3 years in the field of process safety.
