Posted on Tuesday, 02 June 2026, 16 Dhu Al Hijja 1447 Apply by Sunday, 07 June 2026, 21 Dhu Al Hijja 1447 Location Riyadh Department/Section Pediatric Invasive Cardiology Section Summary Provides advanced clinical expertise, mentors, and trains medical staff. Plans, directs, organizes and coordinates the activities and functions within Medical Affairs in line with the mission, goals and objectives of the Hospital. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Clinical Responsibilities

  1. Performs clinical duties and actively engages in clinical practice.
  2. Provides high quality of medical care to patients in accordance with the standards laid down by the Hospital.
  3. Works in multidisciplinary team to bring a multimodal approach to complex patient problem.
  4. Assists the Chairman in ensuring that Quality Improvement Programs are implemented.
  5. Performs specialty procedures, conducts ward rounds and shares on-call rota as required.
  6. Maintains relevant clinical experience, privilege and licensure.

Academic Responsibilities

  1. Directs and advices junior staff on patient management especially in the area of specialization.
  2. Guides and actively participates in the training and teaching of Residents, Fellows, Assistants, Consultants and other junior staff of the department.
  3. Actively participates in the educational activities and training programs of the department.
  4. Promotes the provision of Postgraduate Training Programs, Continuing Medical Education activities and other required educational and training courses.
  5. Develops new courses or special teaching materials for the junior staff.
  6. Actively participates in national and international conferences and outreach programs.
  7. Actively participates in the editorial board of reputable journals and serves on national/international scientific advisory boards or study sections.

Education Graduation from an accredited medical school, completion of required period of training in specialty and/or subspecialty, with Arab or American Board certification, membership and/or fellowship status in the United Kingdom and/or Canada or their equivalent is required. Experience Required Completed twenty (20) years of consultant experiences is required. Other Requirements(Certificates) N/A.
