Job description
The purpose of the position:
Oversight of all accounting and financial operations within the company, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with systems and regulations, which supports sound managerial and financial decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Supervision of daily entries preparation, review, and approval.
Preparation of periodic financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annual).
Management of customer and supplier accounts, and monitoring ongoing commitments and debts.
Oversight of the preparation of budgets and financial reports and analysis of variances.
Ensuring compliance with established accounting standards (such as IFRS).
Monitoring compliance with tax obligations (VAT, Zakat, etc.).
Coordination with internal and external auditors.
Development and improvement of accounting systems and procedures.
Supervision of the accounting team, task delegation, and performance evaluation.
Preparation of financial reports for senior management and support decision-making.
