Review all ITB documents and prepare the BOQ or verify the BOQ available in the Tender package.
- Participate in the job explanation meeting conducted by client
- Participate in Site visit to know the site condition such as site accessibility, availability of electricity and other utilities.
- Prepare a site visit report along with project synopsis to keep with the bid documents
- Fully understand and interpret Drawings and Design Plans
- Prepare detailing of all materials required for the project falls under contractor’s scope. Get latest quotations from the approved suppliers.
- Get prices from subcontractors, if any portion of the project is to be subcontracted.
- Prepares cost summaries for the entire project, this includes Direct & Indirect cost such as materials, equipment, labor costs, taxes, insurance, sub-contractor’s price etc. and any other costs required for the project as per prevailing system in the company and project requirement.
- Get the cost summary reviewed from the Estimation Manager and incorporate the comments after review.
- Prepare a proposed execution schedule including material delivery plan. The level of execution schedule to be prepared will be depend on the client requirement. Usually up to level-3 schedule will be prepared at this stage.
- Prepare technical proposal based on the guidelines provided in the ITB.
- Track and maintain all estimations for further analysis. Evaluate changes and review estimations to ensure accurate project development.
- Prepare a proposed Organization Chart for the project taking client’s requirement into account.
- Upon award of the contract, facilitate the handover process and explain the job to the Project team
